Why did you decide to become a videographer?
I was hooked on nature documentaries from a young age and knew I wanted to be involved in video ever since.
What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
I worked with a very nervous couple who hadn’t had any ideas of what to do, how to proceed, etc… They ended up asking my feedback for everything during their wedding. I vividly remember really feeling their gratitude.
What is your favorite thing about being a videographer?
Capturing something amazing and beautiful and being able to share it with others.
What makes you or your work unique/stand out?
My focus while in school was documentary production as a camera operator and on lighting for narrative film. These two oppositional focus areas make my ability to utilize the environment’s natural lighting to great effect.
What is your favorite part of the event?
I love being able to see people have fun, cut loose, and enjoy the day. I really get to see this the most during the reception.
List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
My first experience with a camera was my family’s home video camera. I made short stop-motion films with my Legos.
