I used to take pictures/video as a hobby, and then people started asking me to take pictures/video for their birthday, events, fundraisers, weddings, product shots, etc, so I got into this.
My favorite memory is from the very first wedding I shot, where I capture the moment of the bride’s father on first look, and he got emotional. For some reason, I haven’t forgotten that moment til this day, even though it’s been over 10 years.
My favorite thing is to capture moments that won’t be repeated, the instant reaction of parents to the bride’s first look, to the groom’s reaction to the first look, is just something you cannot recreate.
I try to capture things as they occur rather than try to keep things natural, nothing superficial.
My favorite part of the wedding is the ceremony, there is something about that moment, two people bonding in an institution of marriage feel surreal.
