Rustic isn’t something that comes to mind when one mentions a summer wedding, but boy oh boy do we have a beautiful summer, rustic wedding for you today! Complete Weddings + Events had the opportunity to capture Kayla and Brandon’s wedding day, not only with photos, but video as well. Kayla and Brandon said “I do” at Little Piney Lodge in Hermann, Missouri, which is a little over an hour away from Downtown St. Louis. Hermann is the perfect place to escape for a weekend, with it’s small town charm and quite a few wineries to choose from. With this information, it makes sense that Little Piney Lodge is a popular venue for weddings! While the Lodge itself is rustic in nature, Kayla and Brandon turned it into elegance meets the outdoors. From their bouquets that highlighted sunflowers, to their wine barrel guest book, every last detail was perfect.
Our own Complete photographer, Brandy Wheeler, along with videographer Kara Parr, captured their day, and made sure that everyone looked great. It’s hard to improve on perfection though; the bridesmaids were striking in their periwinkle blue dresses; each girl chose the style of her dress to keep things interesting! The groomsmen were dashing in gray suits, matched with periwinkle ties. Brandon stood out in his dapper blue suit, but Kayla stole the show with her gorgeous, lace covered wedding dress! The ceremony was held outside in the covered pavilion, and if it was hot that day, we sure couldn’t tell. Once Brandon and Kayla said “I do” it was on to the reception!
DJ Omar made sure the dance floor was packed all night, and all the guests had a great time. Games were played, bouquets were tossed, and there was a lot of love to go around! We are so happy that The Babers’ let us be a part of their celebration, and capture it for timeless memories!
