Amanda + Nick were set to wed early last fall. The stunning couple knew that the perfect venue for their rustic yet elegant wedding was the Farmhouse KC Event Venue. Its perfect combination of barnhouse and modern touches made it an easy choice for the two to start their new chapter.
Wedding Party Attire
With a wedding taking place in early fall, it only made sense to have cabernet be the main color of the event. The bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready in separate suites. In the bridal suite, the bridesmaids put on their deep red dresses. Each wore the same sheath-style chiffon dress, with a sweetheart neckline. The maid of honor wore a similar style, but the bodice of hers was lace.
In the other room, the groomsmen got dressed in classic light grey suits. Each pairing it with a white button-down shirt and cabernet tie. Completing their fall wedding looks.
As the wedding party put together their finishing touches, guests began arriving at The Farmhouse KC Event Venue. The ceremony space was set out in an outdoor area. A perfect subtle breeze blew onto the floral bouquets that lined the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the ceremony began with the wedding party making its way down in pairs.
The space grew quiet as the music changed pace. A slower and steadier song began to play, and guests rose as the bride made her way down the aisle. Amanda wore a stunning a-line dress. Starting at the top half, the bodice was made with embroidered pearls and jewels with a deep v-cut. The skirt of the dress was light and airy tulle that flowed in the wind. All eyes were on her, but hers were on Nick.
Nick matched his groomsmen but wore a darker shade of grey for his classic suit. He paired the suit with that deep red in his button-down shirt. Along with that, he wore a dark grey bow tie and topped it all off with a black belt and shoes.
The bride and groom held hands at the altar as they exchanged their vows and made promises ‘til death do them part. It was all sealed with a kiss until they were finally husband and wife!
Once the two tied the knot, the only next step was to celebrate! The friends and family of Amanda + Nick all made their way into the indoor reception area of the Farmhouse. A night of eating, cake cutting, and of course, dancing ensued. At the end of it all, love was definitely felt throughout the room.
