As summer begins to come to an end, we are so excited to see what the fall season will bring us! But first, let’s look back at one of our favorite couples’ special day on July 11th, 2020.
There is no doubt that Emily and Matt are made for each other! This beautiful couple persevered through all the craziness that has been brought to us because of COVID and did it with understanding and grace. Even though some of their plans may have changed- like having to change their venue, they were still able to pull off a truly stunning wedding!
Emily + Matt’s July Wedding at Wildwood Family Farms
Emily and Matt ultimately chose Wildwood Family Farms as the location for their reception! The venue already has a country feel to it and mixed with the wonderful weather on that sunny July day, their pictures turned out perfectly! While they had dinner inside the barn, catered by Distinctive Catering, they moved the rest of the reception outside for the fun to continue into the night!
Getting Ready
The ladies spent their morning at Heidi Christine Salon to glam up for the big day!
The Ceremony
The couple held their ceremony over at Holy Family Catholic Church where they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. To begin their ceremony, they had the most adorable ring bearers and flower girl come down the aisle, and I think we speak for everyone when we say AWWWEE!
Party Favors/Guest Book
Each wedding usually has some pretty fun party favors for their guests to enjoy, but Emily and Matt really put on their creative hats with this one! Since Matt’s last name is “Smoker” it seems only fitting to make their favors correspond with his last name! They had those candy cigarettes and matches, which is just very clever in our book! Also, to make their guests more comfortable, Emily and Matt put out bracelets for everyone to wear to represent the level of social distancing each guest wanted to partake in! This is a fun way to make sure your guests are comfortable without having to explain! To keep the ball rolling, they even had a fun alternative guest book! They had their guests write down fun date ideas for them to do as they entered married life!
Bridal Party
Choosing your bridal party can really shape how your wedding is going to go, and Emily and Matt definitely chose well! The ladies were dressed is a blush pink color that really paired nicely with the guy’s grey suits!

In addition to being The Smoker’s photographer, we also provided the DJ and photobooth for their reception! Justin, the DJ for the evening, said that he had such a good time and the crowd loved the music and danced all night long!
Overall, we are so happy we could be a part of Emily and Matt’s special day, and we hope you all enjoyed taking a look back at their wedding!
