While there are truly so many things that I love about Complete, my favorite part is that it never feels like work. Every wedding is its own unique experience full of genuine love, joy, and passion in every way, and to be honest, I still can’t believe I get paid to make new friends and help create memories people will never forget every weekend!
What is the best part about DJing at weddings?
Hands down, I love getting to spend time with 2 people who are truly in love with each other. My favorite part is getting to see this connection shine during the first dance, it’s as if the entire world melts away for a few minutes and what’s left is the purest form of love and passion🤍
What is your favorite part of the night?
Other than the first dance, I absolutely love getting to play games with the wedding party, especially scavenger hunts! I’ve had quite a few competitive bridesmaids and groomsmen who quite literally will throw each other in order to win😂
What is your favorite party song to play at events?
My favorite song I play to get the party going is Fireball by Pitbull. I use this song all the time to pack the dance floor with a conga line or what I like to call a fireball dance🔥 PS: It works like a charm 😉
Caden (DJ) - I can't say enough about how amazing Caden is! He went out of his way to make our day the most fun and was really the MVP out the whole night! From our first communication, to our first meeting, and even after everything was said and done, he made sure to make us feel special. Caden listened to our every need, made any and all accomodations we had, and even went further to include our friends and family into the event. When I tell you that Michael Jackson can't out dance Caden, I mean it! This man was out hyping the guests, dancing, laughing, taking requests, and made the dance floor lit AF! He made my daughter feel like such a big part of the day by including her and letting her MC for a bit and even rap us a song 😂! The whole night was just a dream. Caden was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for. Throughout the weekend and after the wedding, our family and friends are all in awe of how interactive, creative and helpful he was an felt like part of the family and support system in the planning and hosting. Due to our ceremony being online, we were having difficulties and Caden was a great help while also doing such an amazing job on multicultural (South Asian American) aspects of our wedding/ceremonies. aden was amazing! He checked in with us throughout the entire day and night. He kept our dance floor going and got to know our party and guests. We had so much fun with him. Caden, our DJ, was incredibly personable. He did an excellent job at our ceremony, the microphone was at the perfect audio level and he made the transition to the reception venue swiftly. Why did you become a DJ?
As a lifelong lover of music, and a professional musician, I love music in all its forms, in all of its expressions. I’ve found that DJing is such a direct way to give everyone the night of their life!

All of my favorite DJ memories are the moments when someone drops a special request and their whole aura lights up once that beat comes down.

I love the classics! Groove is in the heart, Le Freak, and really anything by Bruno Mars is surefire for the dance floor!
What sets you apart from the other DJs, or what are your specialties?
I’m a born performer and I love to mix it up with people! I always have a good time watching other people have a good time, when they see how much of a good time I’m having they have an even better time and then I have a better time!
What is your #1 goal as a DJ?
I am there to make a party happen! I love taking requests and watching the exuberant thrill that comes from the instant gratification of someone dancing to their favorite song with all their friends!
How would you describe your DJ personality?
My personality is authentic, but adaptable. I enjoy being the life of the party, but not every event calls for that! I have a servants heart at the end of the day that wants to help make your day a success!
Why did you become a DJ?
As a favor to my brother, for his wedding he asked if I would be the DJ. AS the night went on, more and more people kept telling me that I was really good at it and should consider doing it professionally. The rest is history.
What is your favorite DJ memory?
I’m a little biased, but as I mentioned above, I was the DJ for my brother’s wedding and getting to help him orchestrate his big day and seeing life-long best friend walk down the aisle with the person that he loves will always stay with me.
What is the funniest thing that ever happened at an event?
One wedding I was doing wanted the option for their guests to do karaoke.
As the night went on all of the children realized they could get a chance on the mic and sing Disney songs or their favorite radio hit. My DJ booth soon wasa swamped with young children begging for a turn at the microphone. As soon as one was done with a song they were back in line to request another. Not at all where I saw the evening going, but all the parents were over the moon to have a chance to see their kids sing.

Our original DJ from another company cancelled 5 days before our wedding date, so I was frantically calling DJs to try to find a replacement. Once I called Complete, I knew that I was in good hands. Our DJ, Matt May was PHENOMENAL. Cannot say more good things or rave about Matt enough. The wedding ceremony was flawless, the music transitions were great. Following the ceremony Matt brought us waters and checked in; it was so thoughtful that he went out of his way.
For our reception Matt brought so much energy and positivity to the room. The bridal and groom party entrance made us feel excited to follow them. He made sure that we were able to have time for a group photo and to make sure everyone got on the dance floor. Something we did not expect was a special DJ moment as bride! My favorite part of being a DJ is going to places I would never see, meeting so many great people either as a client or in the wedding industry, learning a wide range of music genres and experiencing many wedding traditions and cultures from around the world.
What separates you from other DJ’s?
My knowledge of all different genres and ability to incorporate them together seamlessly throughout the night. I believe my past experience with the bars and Karaoke makes me very approachable and personable, while my past experience in the clubs gives me the ability to keep the energy high from reading and feeding off the crowd.
Describe your DJ style?
Professional, knowledgeable, outgoing and enthusiastic, but not overbearing. I am confident enough in my music choices to not feel the need to perform games, although I have the training to do so if that is what you are looking for to keep your guest entertained. I’m very adaptable to my clients, so I like to tell people to tell me what kind of DJ you are looking for instead of me telling you what kind of DJ I am.

We've all been to one of those weddings where the PA system goes out during the ceremony or a toast. We were determined to select a vendor that would minimize the likelihood of this happening, but at a reasonable price. Complete Weddings was just that. Our DJ, Alvin, was a conssumate professional. He knew the right questions to ask to make sure he was prepared, and our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The music choice was great, too! I would absolutely recommend him.
