Jake and Jordan met at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO and it was love at first sight. Jake was a defensive lineman on the football team and Jordan was a dancer on the Showgirls Dance Team. They first crossed paths at a football party and soon reconnected, starting a love story that would take them all the way to the altar. Check out the details of Jake and Jordan’s St. Louis wedding!
Jake and Jordan’s wedding had so many amazing details to share. To start, the color scheme was just perfect. The pink, orange, and cream colors complimented each other perfectly. They used flowers to create an archway for their ceremony and as centerpieces for the reception tables. They also added a table with pictures of loved ones that couldn’t be there on their big day.
They had live music for their ceremony as they walked down the aisle. Another piece of decor was the XOXO lighting they had at the reception. The lighting was the perfect touch for the reception and it looked incredible in pictures.
The bride and groom spent the morning getting ready separately, so they could see each other for the first time as they walked down the aisle. The bride got ready in the bridal suite with her mom and all her bridesmaids, while the groom got ready with his groomsmen.
Once the bride and groom were ready, the ceremony could begin. The groom made his way down the aisle, followed by the bridal party. Finally, the bride made her grand entrance. They had an elegant ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. They exchanged rings and shared a kiss to seal the deal!
The newlyweds made their grand entrance to the reception for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Floyd. They enjoyed food and cake with their guests and then made their way to the dance floor to share their first dance. After the newlyweds danced, Jordan had a special dance with her mother. After these special dances, all the guests were invited to join them on the dance floor and dance the night away!
