Their day included a ceremony at the Jewel Box in Forest Park and an elegant celebration inside the Marriott St. Louis Grand. Soft blue details, colorful florals, and thoughtful entertainment tied everything together beautifully.
Getting Ready for Their St. Louis Wedding
Amber and her bridal party started the day getting ready at an Airbnb. Her bridal look felt elegant while still giving her options throughout the celebration. She wore a Martina Liana Bridal Design gown with a sweetheart neckline. The dress also featured detachable sleeves and a removable skirt. She removed pieces for the reception, giving her a second look without changing dresses completely.
Tara Lowery with Blush on the Boulevard handled both Amber’s hair and makeup. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo that complemented the dress perfectly. The bridesmaids wore matching floor-length light blue dresses with one-shoulder necklines. The soft blue shade carried through several details later in the reception. Deshawn stood out in a white suit jacket with black detailing. His groomsmen kept things classic with black suits and black ties.
Wedding Ceremony at the Jewel Box in Forest Park
Amber and Deshawn held their ceremony at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. Guests were given custom paper fans, adding a practical and personalized ceremony detail. Live music also made the ceremony feel extra special. A singer and violinist performed during the celebration.
Belli Fiori created the floral arrangements throughout the day. The designs featured white, pink, and blue flowers mixed with plenty of greenery. Erica and Celine from Complete Weddings + Events photographed the day. They captured everything from getting ready through the reception celebrations. Cinematic Bams Films joined the couple as their videography team.
Marriott St. Louis Grand Wedding Reception
The celebration continued inside the Crystal Ballroom at Marriott St. Louis Grand. The space paired perfectly with the couple’s elegant wedding style. Tables featured blue and gold details alongside Belli Fiori’s colorful floral arrangements. The finished look felt polished without becoming overly formal. Their bridal party made their reception entrance carrying #TeamAmber and #TeamDeshawn signs. Glow sticks added even more energy to the entrance. McArthur’s Bakery created the wedding cake for the evening.
Amber and Deshawn also included plenty of entertainment for their guests. Caricature STL created custom drawings during the reception. The couple played the shoe game, bringing another fun and relaxed moment into the evening. DJ Dex from Complete Weddings + Events kept the celebration moving throughout the night. Music, entrances, and reception moments all came together naturally.
