Ways to Include Family & Friends in Your Wedding

Have you been wanting to find ways to include your family and friends in your wedding but don’t know how? Family and friends will always want to be a part of your special day. That is what friends and family are for! They are there to celebrate the amazing moments, and sometimes not so amazing moments! In this case, we are celebrating something that will forever change your life. I can guarantee that your friends and family want to help! Here are a couple of ways you can incorporate your close friends and family into your wedding!

Ways to Include Family & Friends in Your Wedding

Something borrowed

The first way to include special friends and family in your wedding is “something new”, “something borrowed”, and “something blue”. If you have multiple friends and family that want to be a part of your special day, divide it up. Have someone bring something new, another person brings something borrowed, and so forth.

The second way to include friends and family is to use symbolism! Use symbolism throughout the wedding. You could add your Grandmother’s favorite flowers in your bouquet, or the favorite color of a loved one! You can find little ways to incorporate the people that mean the most to you at the wedding.

Try to incorporate your loved ones’ talents! This could include music, art, design, and comedy! The possibilities are endless with talents. This not only is a fun idea for the couple but the friend or family member that is performing feels special and feels like they have contributed in some way.

This is one of the most popular ways to get family and friends involved in the wedding. Have someone read a special scripture or have them create a special reading during the ceremony. This is a great way to get the family involved!

Baked treats

Have a family member create the dessert bar! You can still have the professional wedding cake! Have the family member create different desserts. You can have family or friends help design the table, bake the goods, and create the vibe for the dessert table.

One very important aspect of the wedding is the marriage license. Have someone that is very important to you be the witness as you sign the marriage license. This is a very special moment for all parties involved! This would be a perfect way to incorporate grandparents, parents, or someone that is very important to you.
