Tyler and Katelyn had their beautiful wedding at Cross Key Acres on April 17th! From looking at the photos, you almost wouldn’t believe that it almost couldn’t happen outside! The entire morning was cloudy and overcast with rain showers.
No one wants to rain on their wedding day, but as anyone living in Houston has seen, it rains a lot this time of year. Luckily for Tyler and Katelyn, the clouds dissipated and the sun started shining through! Perfect timing is literally the only possible phrase to describe it. The post-rain sunshine gave everything the perfect glow for the ceremony!

Getting Ready
Katelyn and her bridesmaids and Tyler and his groomsmen all got ready on the property. Katelyn wore a stunning trumpet style floral lace dress with a low back and her bridesmaids all wore blush-colored dresses. Tyler and his groomsmen all had matching suspenders and bowties to make them all look quite dapper.
It was a rustic but almost fairytale feel with the blush and pink flowers throughout the decorations providing pops of color. The ceremony was set up on the lawn at Cross Key Acres with white chairs and a gorgeous floral backdrop behind the couple. A string quartet provided calming background music as the couple’s friends and family arrived and found their way to their seats. Most of the clouds were gone at this point and the sun was shining for a beautiful day!
The Wedding
The ceremony was a short but intimate affair with the couple’s each writing their own heartfelt vows to each other. After celebrating while walking back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Nocera, the party started! The reception hall was beautifully decorated much in the same style as the ceremony with blush and pink floral throughout.
One of our favorite details was the dog treats for guests’ pets because Tyler and Katelyn love their dogs so much! The food started with a massive charcuterie board for cocktail hour followed by a delicious seated dinner. Once the dance floor got started, DJ Alex with Complete Weddings + Events Houston kept the party going all night! The couple ended the night saying goodbye to their wonderful friends and family with a sparkler send-off.
