Jonathan and Jordyn’s wedding day was everything they had planned for and more. They both wanted a small, micro wedding with just close friends and family. They got exactly that and had a blast with their close-knit group. The celebration took place at a private family residence in Conroe, just north of Houston, Texas on October 20, 2018.
In the backyard, fresh landscaping was all around the ceremony area. Family and friends started to gather in the early afternoon to prepare for the occasion. Upon walking in the yard, the first thing noticed was the gorgeous pond backdrop! The rain kept threatening to fall but the sunshine prevailed. Our couple got married in front of a custom-built arch with fabric draping and floral arrangements to give the area an extra elegant touch. Jordyn chose a striking blue color for all of her floral arrangements. It was just another small detail that made the day so perfect.

See Jordyn’s amazing wedding dress pictured below! She wore a beautiful but simple strapless ball gown. It included a beautiful belt around the bodice. The skirt was a lighter material and she topped it off with an amazing veil with floral lace. She complimented the dress with a dazzling necklace and her rings. Her bridesmaids wore a subtle blush color. The ladies weren’t the only ones with a glow up. Jonathan also looked pretty dapper with his custom shoes. Our groom was adamant we got a picture of him lacing those up. We think it turned out pretty cool!

Jordyn and Jonathan booked Complete Weddings + Events for their DJ, photography, and videography for their big day. It included many touching moments, especially given the family atmosphere. We were able to capture plenty of these such as Jordyn pinning flowers on each of the groomsmen, heartfelt and loving speeches, and special dances between loved ones in the evening. Jonathan and Jordyn have shown you don’t need to have hundreds of people and extravagant decorations to have the wedding of your dreams.
