Jordan and Sarah’s Beautiful Fall Wedding at Willow Creek Farm

The Love Story

“Our story starts when we were in our senior year of High School. We started to date on October 20, 2013. High School with him was fun and easy-going, especially prom. Once we both graduated, we knew it was time to make a decision. I was already taking classes at Joliet Junior College while he was getting packed up to move to Mexico, Missouri for Linn State Technical College. The thought of being so far away from each other stunk, but we decided to stick it out. From me driving 5 hours to see him on weekends to him trying to come home, we managed to keep good grades and spent time together. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”.

Jordan finally graduated from college after two years and moved back home, the boy was that a relief. Fast-forwarding to when we bought our first house. January 4th, 2018 we moved into our beautiful home in Gardner. We did everything typical homeowners do, bought a new couch, painted the bathrooms, and even built some things. June 2018 was the best month, we welcomed our first puppy, Ellie, a beautiful golden retriever. Then on June 19th, 2018, Jordan got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. I’ll have to say, that was the easiest yes of my life. Since our engagement, we have been busy planning the wedding and working full-time jobs. Cheers to the rest of our years.” – Sarah

Wedding at Willow Creek Farm

Jordan and Sarah tied the knot on a beautiful September day wedding at Willow Creek Farm. Willow Creek sits on a 37-acre plot of farmland just east of Champaign – Urbana. This beautiful venue features a lovely pergola overlooking a pond. This makes for the perfect ceremony space. The venue also features old vehicles which may be rented and used for pictures, Jordan and Sarah can be seen in this beautiful 2nd generation Ford f100 only made form 1952 – 1956.

Harvest tables are also available for your dinner which makes things so nice and easy. The location also features bridal suites for the bride and groom to get ready before the wedding. A covered fire pit is also featured in the beautiful outdoor cocktail hour patio. They also offer the ability to bring a tent onto the property for an outdoor reception. Willow Creek Farms is a Farm to table experience that has partnered with many eateries around Champaign – Urbana.
