We thought it best to add a flare for their story’s title! Their first date was for dinner at Brandie’s favorite Mexican restaurant in Champaign called fiesta cafe. If that wasn’t cute enough afterward they watched live music!
The engagement happened at Homer Lake by the water. It was his grandma’s surprise retirement party. He asked her to take a walk with him. As maybe you can guess, this is the opportunity he took to propose! She had a slight feeling it was going to happen in the near future, however, she was completely surprised that day! There’s a really sweet country song called “I don’t want to be your boyfriend anymore” and that’s the first thing he said when he got down on one knee.
