Ally + Joe’s Fall Wedding at Destihl Beer Hall

Ally + Joe’s wedding at Destihl was the perfect mix of relaxed and refined, with the brewery’s industrial-chic vibe setting the tone for an unforgettable day. From their outdoor “I dos” surrounded by pumpkins and mums to a cozy, barrel-lit reception, every part of their celebration fit seamlessly into the gorgeous space.
The Outdoor Ceremony Spot
Ally + Joe chose to exchange their vows in Destihl’s Courtyard, an intimate outdoor area framed by the brewery’s modern architecture and string-light ambiance. The space feels close and personal but open at the same time. The perfect vibe for a smaller ceremony with your closest friends and family. With a few simple floral touches (including pumpkins – it is fall after all) and the late-afternoon sun filtering through, it created the dreamiest backdrop for their ceremony. Guests could easily flow from the outdoor setting straight into cocktail hour, keeping the vibe light, social, and effortless.
An Indoor Reception Location
Once the ceremony wrapped up, everyone headed inside to celebrate and have a few drinks in the Barrel Room. This space is every bit as warm and unique as the outdoor ceremony space. It’s lined with aging oak barrels, filled with glowing lights, and lots of energy. Ally + Joe’s fall décor with lots of pumpkins and mums played perfectly off the industrial-modern aesthetic, with a balance of elegant details and cozy autumn character.
Destihl’s in-house catering (including delicious desserts) and bar service made the evening flow smoothly, letting the couple (and their guests!) relax and just enjoy the night. From heartfelt toasts to the packed dance floor, this space was the perfect canvas for their fun, laid-back celebration.
Endless Photo Ops
One of the best parts about Destihl Brewery and Beer Hall is how photo-friendly the entire property is, and Ally + Joe’s portraits are proof of that! We took advantage of the green spaces with some straw bales to really soak in the fall vibes, the glowing barrel walls, and the soft golden hour light that covers the whole property. Even the exterior brewery walls offered cool, modern backdrops that fit their style perfectly. Whether we were capturing quiet moments between the barrels or golden-hour kisses outside, every corner of Destihl offered something beautiful and authentic.
Destihl Brewery gave Ally + Joe the best of both worlds – a modern, stylish venue that still felt cozy, intimate, relaxed, and totally “them.” Between the outdoor ceremony space, the romantic barrel-room reception, and all the photo opportunities in between, it’s easy to see why this venue has become such a favorite for Central Illinois couples.
