Hey, I’m Nick, otherwise known as DJ Pooch! I bring big energy, creativity, and good vibes to every party. I love reading the crowd and building the kind of playlist that keeps the dance floor packed all night.

The social, creative and ritualistic benefits of DJing are well understood by those who participate in it. But less explored is the brain state it can induce that makes us feel like we’re touching the divine, or, on a less grandiose level, that we’re leading happy lives. We at complete weddings and Events have a diverse group of individuals who I can call family and so much fun to be around!
Wedding DJs can use music to create a shared experience for a diverse crowd, even if their tastes and ages differ. The goal is to play emotional, fun, and down-to-earth songs that create a kind of spiritual communion. DJs can get a sense of what the crowd wants and needs by asking couples about their expectations and getting song requests from guests ahead of time. They can then adjust the music to keep the crowd engaged and dancing. I love introducing the wedding party, the bride and groom, the toasts, the dedicated dances, and keeping the reception moving along by making announcements and adjusting to any hold-ups. Just being a part of someone’s biggest day in their entire lives is HUGE! And means so much to me that I was a part of that! Making sure that the dance floor is packed the entire night makes me feel great watching guests sing to their favorite songs and dance the night away.
