I cannot tell you how much this wedding made me smile. From beginning to end there is laughter and smiles all around, it really is full of joy and party atmosphere. Sami and Austin were hitched on the 17th of October at Colton Lutheran Parish Colton, SD. We wanted the overall feeling of the day to be fun while maintaining a link to traditional weddings. After the ceremony, we traveled to Brookings Nature park and the wild hare in Brookings for photos.

Sami and Austin first met in elementary school and were friends for many more years before they starting dating. They started dating on October 6, 2013, during our senior year of high school.

As their relationship grew stronger throughout college, they continued to be each other’s best friend and dancing, partner. On May 23, 2019, when they were in Florida visiting family is when Austin proposed by the beach.

Sami and Austin found the lake house dream wedding and found beautiful memories to last a lifetime. We do not always have a choice in where and how and with whom, but love gives us the courage to withstand that which we never thought we could.
