Chill is in the air. The leaves are changing colors. You sometimes (definitely) need a jacket. Fall is upon us in the Twin Cities and that means that Summer 2021 brides, you made it! Your event has passed and you are officially married! Congrats from all of us at Complete Weddings + Events Twin Cities, we appreciate so much being a part of your special day. As we say goodbye to summer weddings, we will share some of the best things about the season past.
Warm Weather Weddings
For us, the main appeal of summer weddings is the weather. In the Twin Cities especially, knowing that you won’t run into things like freezing temps or (eek!) SNOW makes it a no-brainer. Our busiest season is during those mid-late summer months when it’s still warm at sunset and you can comfortably and confidently have events outside. Complete Weddings + Events DJs and other staff are well versed in outdoor weddings and can accommodate things like wireless mics, extension chords, and Bluetooth capabilities. As we say goodbye to summer, we say goodbye to (most) outdoor-exclusive venues. See you in the Spring!
Florals in the Sunlight
When you think of summer weddings, you no doubt think of cheerful times. Many summer weddings feature large seasonal floral arrangements and take advantage of the various stages of the sun. Bright, warm days can make for the most beautiful daytime events, and as you transition to evening your photographer will guide you through Golden Hour photos. Fall and Winter weddings can benefit so much from event lighting from Complete because they lose the advantage of the illumination our summer brides enjoy.
Coordinating Colors
Summer weddings typically have the most color variation, as the season’s vibe can be represented by a spectrum of shades. Brights, pastels, prints – summer is the time to do what feels good. If you are lacking a specific direction or there’s just too much to choose from, one of our wedding coordinators would be glad to help you figure out the best summer wedding colors. We saw some of the most beautiful colors and textures this summer from our 2021 brides.
