Libby and Will first met in the summer of 2016 at a concert. They continued to get to know each other and bond over their shared taste in music. In August of 2017, they started dating and four years later got engaged! See all the details of Libby and Will’s autumn wedding day below!
Getting Ready
The bride and groom spent the morning getting ready separately. The bride and bridesmaids spent the morning sipping on mimosas and talking about their big day ahead while getting their hair and makeup done. The groom and groomsmen got ready together at the groom’s house before going to the church.
The Wedding Party
The wedding party included six bridesmaids and six groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore long burnt orange dresses and nude-colored heels. The groomsmen wore black suits, black ties, and black dress shoes.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at St. Charles Catholic Church. At approximately 2:00 pm, two by two the wedding party began to make their way down the aisle. The couple decided to have a Catholic ceremony which included a wedding mass. After the couple exchanged vows and rings and sealed the deal with a kiss, they exited the parish for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Carl.
The Reception
After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Elm Grove Woman’s Club for the reception. Wedding guests enjoyed the cocktail hour until the bridal party got to the venue. Around 6:00 the Wedding party made their grand entrance and then dinner began. The reception consisted of dinner, drinks, cake, and of course dancing the night away!
