Jacquelin and Bradley met the best way possible. A fateful night brought them together through mutual friends. It was only a matter of time before their 30-minute conversation turned into the rest of their lives. This is how they celebrated their wedding day at Lake Geneva.
Attire
Bridesmaids
When it came to picking her bridesmaids, Jacquelin picked those closest to her. They signified their unity in being there for the bride by wearing matching dresses. Each bridesmaid wore an emerald green dress in the style of a slightly fitted sheath dress. It had a classic v-cut that flattered each of the bridesmaids. When they all stood by each other, you knew they were all there for one reason, and that was to support the lady of the day.
The Bride
To fit the simply timeless aesthetic of the wedding, Jacquelin opted for an a-line fit dress. It’s a step below the ball gown dress which can sometimes feel overwhelming to some brides. The a-line style still gives of a princess look, with a touch of elegance. Turning around, the detail that added to the dress was the buttons that went down the back of the dress, and down the train.
For makeup, Jacquelin decided to go for a more dramatic smokey eye to offset the subtle style of her dress. She paired the eye look with a nude lip. For accessories, she wore a pair of Bradley Mischka peep-toe heels. They had a more dramatic jewel detail that covered the back of the heel.
To finish off her look, Jacquelin had her hair in bouncy curls. She had her hair in a half-up, half-down look that paired well with the veil she wore that perfectly sat on the crown of her head.
With the wedding party dressed and ready, the ceremony was ready to begin.
Ceremony
Venue
The Riviera Ballroom located in the heart of Lake Geneva was the perfect venue for the wedding Jacquelin and Bradley had in mind. Its tall ceilings, pillars, gold accents, and bright white finish all came together to form an elegant wedding space. Guests each arrived and took their seats that faced the altar. Soon, the small quartet began playing some music to signal the beginning of the ceremony.
The Groom
The wedding party each took their turns coming down the aisle until finally, the bride stepped out. She made her way up to meet the man she had loved for so long, Bradley. All the moments that lead to now flashed before her as she looked at him. He wore a classic black and white suit. To pull into the emerald color scheme, he also wore an emerald green tie and paired it with a white boutonniere.
Vows were exchanged, and they sealed the new chapter of their lives with I dos and a kiss! Jacquelin + Bradley were officially husband and wife!
Reception
The reception that followed was filled with so much love and celebration. The bride and groom proceeded to have their first dances, cake cutting, and even more dancing! It was clear that the love was not only felt between Jacquelin and Bradley, but also between each one of the guests they invited that night.
