Hey, I’m Katie! 👋🏻
I’m the photographer behind Katie Largent Photography, a Nebraska-based photographer with a serious love for dogs, adventures, and documenting the people who make life special.
You don’t have to know how to pose, be super comfortable in front of a camera, or have every detail figured out before reaching out. That’s what I’m here for! I want you to have fun, be yourselves, and actually enjoy the experience.
When I’m not behind my camera, I’m probably spending time with my husband and daughter, planning our next adventure, or dreaming about the mountains.
If you’re looking for a photographer who will help you plan, laugh with you, get excited about your ideas, and probably suggest bringing your dog along, I think we’re going to get along just fine.
I’ve always loved photos and how they let you hold onto moments you never want to forget. There’s something really special about being able to look back at a photo years later and remember exactly how you felt in that moment. I wanted to be able to give that to other people, too. The fact that I get to meet so many amazing people, document their lives, and do something I genuinely love for a living is pretty incredible.
Honestly, some of my favorite memories are from elopements where the day turns into a whole adventure. Getting to explore somewhere beautiful with a couple, watching them get excited about the views, and seeing them just enjoy being together is hard to beat. Those are the days that remind me why I love what I do!
Getting to meet so many different people and be part of some of the biggest moments in their lives! I love that no two weddings or couples are the same. I get to travel to beautiful spots, meet people who feel like old friends by the end of a session, and give them photos they’ll get to look back on for years. I really don’t take that for granted.
I want your photos to be about more than just looking “good“ in front of a camera. Especially with weddings, I want to help you plan a day that’s actually FUN! Want to bring your dog? Include your first date spot on your wedding day? or do something a little outside the box? I’m here for it. I’ll help with location ideas and timelines, but I also want you to have time to enjoy your day instead of feeling like you’re at a photoshoot the entire time. And don’t worry if you’re awkward in front of a camera. Most people tell me that, and we always figure it out!
I love the moments when couples finally get to slow down and realize they’re actually married! Whether that’s sneaking away for sunset photos, taking a little time right after the ceremony, or immediately celebrating with family and friends, those moments are always special to me.
Hiking, chai, and my family are three of my most favorite things! I’m also a criminal minds junkie and love any and all music!
