Hii! My name is “DJ Horchata” aka Willow, my mission as a DJ is to give you a dancing filled stress-free event you won’t forget! On weekdays I am a RBT and EHS teacher, but on the weekends I love to get parties poppin! I enjoy books, nature, legos, star wars, and comics! My ultimate goal is to make everyone feel included and bring awesome vibes, it brings me so much joy to be a stepping stone in peoples special days!
I would describe my DJ personality as fluid and adaptable. I am very good at matching energy as well as bringing the energy up!
My favorite memory as a DJ is being able to watch people really just let loose and let the music move their bodies on the dance floor. Nothing makes me happier than seeing smiles and hearing laughter from my clients and their guests, you’ll always find me behind my booth busting a move!
Something that makes me stand out as a DJ is I am very well versed in many genres of music, very rarely do I ever get requests I am unfamiliar with. Also I am more than willing to be your right hand man, anything I can assist with I’d be happy to accommodate!
My favorite part of a wedding reception is being able to help with all the sentimental moments, specifically dedication dances. As a parent myself, seeing people realize their babies are growing up right in front of their eyes, and getting to hold them in their arms once again while dancing them into the start of their own journey in life always pulls at my heartstrings. I will admit I always have a pack of tissues on hand, the water works always sneak up on me!
My favorite song to play at events is either Hotel Room Service- Pitbull or Low- Flo Rida, it always gets everyone moving and hyped up!
I decided to become a DJ because it combined the biggest things I love, helping others and music! Being able to leave an event knowing that people had fun and let loose is the biggest compliment and mood booster for me!
