Emily feels that her job as DJ fits in perfectly with her theater career at Nebraska Wesleyan. Her enthusiasm for her work shows in her ability to transfer that enthusiasm to guests. “The music sets the mood for everyone. When you have a DJ like me who is enthusiastic and passionate, the whole room gets excited to dance. If I’m happy (and I always am when I’m DJing), my clients and their guests will be happy, too.”
Favorite Thing About Being A DJ:
The energy and overall fun of the day and night. I’m able to be an entertainer and performer. This is a job where working hard and playing hard go hand in hand. I’m able to love my job fully and with pride.
Favorite Part of The Night:
Getting the party started after all the formalities and other activities are finished. Seeing everyone enjoy themselves during that time is always a wonderful sight.

3. The Pokemon theme song (when I get the chance to play it, clients wishes depending).
Why I Became a DJ:
At first it was for fun. It was something new, exciting, and went well with my theatre studies in college. It was something that spoke to me and I knew I had to see what it was about. Over time I’ve realized this is my passion to help give people fun and a reason to smile. It’s a part of me that is meant to be.
Fun Fact About Me:
I speak Chinese (learned in high school) and Japanese (minored in it during college).

She contacted a few weeks before the wedding & met so she could get an idea of what we wanted...likes, dislikes, special dances & events during the reception etc. We then compiled a bunch of songs and artists we liked and sent them a few days before.
