Taylor and AJ first met through some mutual friends in high school but little did they know two years later they would start dating and fall in love. For the first four years of their relationship, they dated long-distance visiting each other in Lincoln and Fremont. They eventually moved in together, got a puppy, and the rest is history. They decided to tie the knot by having a Roca Berry Farm wedding.
The Venue
Roca Berry Farm is a small pumpkin and berry farm located in Roca, NE, about 20 minutes south of Lincoln. Both the wedding ceremony and reception took place here. The ceremony took place in their outdoor venue which included a beautiful arbor. The reception took place inside the venue’s Pioneer Barn. This is where cocktail hour and dinner took place, then they moved to the covered patio for dancing!
The Wedding Details
The colors for this wedding were light pink and navy blue. The bridesmaids all wore long pink dresses, each having a slightly different style top. The groomsmen all wore matching navy suits with pink ties and pocket squares. The groom wore a matching suit with his groomsmen but wore a white tie instead. The bride wore a beautiful white dress with lace detailing.
The Ceremony
Once everyone was ready, the ceremony could begin. As friends and family began to find their seats, the bride and groom were anxiously awaiting their turn to walk down the aisle. Slowly, their family began to walk down the aisle, next was their puppy, then the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and finally the bride.
When AJ saw Taylor walking down the aisle, he became emotional. The entire ceremony was a perfect way to showcase their love for one another.
Roca Berry Farm Reception
After the ceremony, the party moved to the Pioneer Barn for some cocktails, food, and speeches. After everyone ate, they moved to the patio area for some dancing! The night ended with a beautiful sparkler send-off for the newlyweds!
