On an early fall evening, October 17, 2020 to be exact, Nichole Brady and Andrew Vasquez tied the knot at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Their day was captured on camera by the talented Chelsea Sorensen. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. To understand the pure love between the two, we need to go back a few years to when they met.

Their Story
Nichole + Andrew’s love story begins as innocent as can be. They met during the summer after their first year of high school. After they had both become a part of their high school’s show choir, the two grew closer in friendship through the rest of their high school years. As college came, Nichole and Andrew continued meeting up on weekends as friends until one weekend, Andrew asked the question that would begin their romantic journey: “Nichole, do you want to start dating?”. With years of friendship backing them, the answer was easy. Nichole said the first ‘yes’ that would further their relationship together.

The Dress
Fast forward a couple of years later, and the day had come to seal their love forever. Nichole wore a breathtaking ball gown dress fit for the woman of the hour. The skirt met the bodice of the dress at the waistline with a jeweled belt. The bodice featured a portrait neckline. It’s a mix between the look of an off-the-shoulder dress and a sweetheart neckline. The cut of this neckline accentuated her collarbone. To keep the attention towards the neckline, Nichole went with understated jewelry. Starting off with a small pendant gemstone necklace that came with a matching set of subtle earrings. All coming together to form a simply elegant look.
Wedding Party
The wedding party complimented each other in fall hues. The bridesmaids wore matching lace off-the-shoulder wine-colored dresses. The lace bodices extended out into an a-line skirt. The dresses were then accessorized by pearl necklaces and a matching set of pearl earrings
The groomsmen all wore navy blue suits with vests underneath. These were paired together with white button-downs and purple ties. Finished off with purple boutonnieres, white for the groom, maroon handkerchiefs, and brown shoes.
Decorations
As you may have picked up, the complete color palette of the wedding included maroon, purple, blue, and white. Green also appeared in nature-inspired pieces. For example, the bouquets the bridesmaids held during the ceremony and the garland that ran along with the head table at the reception. When guests arrived at the reception, they were led to their tables covered in white linen clothes with maroon accent pieces. The wine-colored linen feature was extended to the chairs as they wrapped around them and sealed with a perfect bow.
Reception
The reception took place at Embassy Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska. The indoor venue made a perfect space for guests to dance the night away. Nichole + Andrew closed the night with a surprise dance. What started off as a final dance to Faithfully by Journey, ended in a full performance between the couple to Thunderstruck by ACDC. Their love story came full circle in that moment as they ended their night the way they met. Through song and dance.
