There comes a time, when people find someone that brings light to their life. Dates and time spent together only increase their love for each other. The same is true for Alex + Abby. It not only made sense, but it felt right that they join their lives together by getting married. Because moving on in life without each other, wouldn’t be the same.
Getting Ready
Abby began the morning of her wedding by getting ready with her besties. The bridal suite was filled with love and excitement as they were looking forward to the rest of the day. The bridesmaids slipped out of their satin pink robes and into their mauve bridesmaid dress. They were all sheath-cut dresses and had different cuts on the bodice to flatter each of them in unique ways.
On the other side of the hall, the groomsmen got ready into their complimentary suits. Each groomsman wore a navy blue suit, with a white button-down shirt, brown shoes, and a pink tie. All coming together to form the perfect wedding party for a stellar wedding in downtown Lincoln, NE.
First Looks
After getting ready, the bride and groom were finally ready to see each other for the first time that day. They had an intimate first look in the North American Martyrs Catholic church with no one else around. Alex first walked into the church on his own and his back turned to the doors. Once he was ready, Abby followed in behind him. She walked in a gave him a hug from behind to signal Alex to turn around. There she was, the woman of his dreams.
The Bride
Abby wore a fitted trumpet dress. The two strapped dress was covered in a lace material that disappeared into the skirt. The skirt started at the knees and slightly flared out to give a subtle shape that flattered her in all the best ways. The couple enjoyed their first moments together until they were finally ready to begin the ceremony.
Ceremony
The guests slowly piled into church for the ceremony. Guests were cued to take a seat as the strings began to play. The wedding party slowly made its way to the altar. Starting off with the flower girl and ring bearer, and ending with Alex and her father. Vows and promises were exchanged, and the couple sealed their future with a kiss. It was official, the two were married and were ready to begin the next chapter in their love story.
Reception
They were finally ready for their reception, but not before they explored downtown Lincoln as a newly married couple. Heads turned as the stunning couple caught the attention of onlookers.
After the walk, the reception began at the Apothecary Lofts & Ridnour Room. Who doesn’t love to attend a wedding in downtown Lincoln? The night continued with toasts, cake cutting, and of course some dancing! One thing was for sure, Alex + Abby were in a room full of love. A perfect way to set the tone for the rest of their lives!
