Lori Black has been working in the wedding photography field for more than 10 years. Her goals when shooting a wedding is to do her best to capture the love story of the bride and groom from the beginning of the day till the end. You will find Lori very friendly and easy-going. She will provide some guidance during those times when it is needed and sit back and document when that is more appropriate.

Why did you decide to become a photographer?

I never set out to be a wedding photographer. My “real” career was as a journalist. I originally worked for newspapers covering local news and also did some photojournalism along the way.

What is your favorite memory from a wedding you've shot?

I have so many memories from the past decade shooting weddings, including making strong connections with the bride and groom and getting positive comments, notes and online reviews about her work.

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?

My favorite part of doing wedding photography is meeting brides and grooms and seeing their happiness about getting married.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day?

My favorite part of the wedding day is taking time alone with the bride and groom to capture romantic photos.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am a huge animal lover and have two dogs and two cats. Together with my husband, we walk our dogs five to six times a day.
