Aubrey + Matt tied the knot on 8.29.20 after dating for eight years and many months of worry with all that is going on. They were excited to finally get to share in their joy with family and friends and despite the changes they had to make to their guest list they knew their family & friends supported them every step of the way!

Their ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Blue Vista, in Randolph, KS. Blue Vista is just a short drive from Manhattan, KS, sitting on a hill overlooking Tuttle Creek Lake. The lake views and lush greenery surrounding the property were the perfect backgrounds for their ceremony and reception.

Ceremony

Sun was shining, love was in the air, and Aubrey & Matt said they were just excited to finally be married!!! Aubrey and her bridal party were pampered by Platinum & Company prior to walking down the aisle and they all looked fabulous in their matching pink robes. Final touches were prepped by their coordinator, Tara with Complete, and florist, Blooms on Boswell, as Matt & Aubrey exchanged their first look while the photographer captured the sweet moment.

Matt’s eyes lit up the moment he saw his bride for the first time. As guests arrived at the ceremony location they walked the path lined with beautiful ferns and flowers. Aubrey made her way down the aisle with her father on her arm and a smile from ear to ear. Aubrey’s brother performed their ceremony and as he spoke about their relationship it was apparent the love they had shared the last eight years was known to all those around them.

They exchanged vows, rings, and performed the unity candle ceremony showcasing their love was bringing two families together. The aunt of the bride pre-recorded herself playing the piano for this special moment. Without further ado, Matt was able to kiss his bride and for the first time, and they were presented as Mr. & Mrs. Matt Iles!

Reception

As the couple and their wedding party headed off to take more beautiful pictures, their guests entered the beautiful venue that was adorned with lush pink flowers and accents of silver. The caterers were serving up a delightful charcuterie board and the drinks were flowing. The wedding party along with Matt & Aubrey entered the reception to “Forever” by Chris Brown and made way to the cake table where they cut into their beautiful 5 tiered cake by HyVee and shared their first slice along with a toast to the happy couple.

Dinner was an elaborate spread by HyVee that included favorites of the bride (macaroni & cheese bar) and groom (sushi & wontons) along with a carving station and the most delicious twice-baked potatoes. Dinner was followed by toasts from their Best Man, Maid of Honor, and a touching sentiment from Aubrey’s father. The dance began with the couple’s first dance, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. followed by the father-daughter dance, “Just Fishin” by Trace Adkins, and the mother-son dance, “Do I Make You Proud” by Taylor Hicks. Matt also shared a special dance with his grandmother to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.

Once the dance floor was open her guests had a great time and added a little flare with glow sticks. Their reception also included the shoe game performed by Aubrey’s brother and sister-in-law as well as Aubrey tossed her bouquet to the next lucky single lady. As the night came to an end the couple shared a moment outside taking it all in and allowing our photographer to snap a wonderful evening photo with their venue and guests in the background. As many couples say the night went by so fast and to end the night their family & friends gathered with sparklers and sent the couple off to enjoy their happily ever after!
