Telma + Brent’s Balmoral House Wedding

Telma and Brent started dating in October 2018. After dating for 3 years, Brent decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and they married a year later! They planned their wedding in Fishers, Indiana, at The Balmoral House, a beautiful family-owned property that’s about a half-hour drive from Indianapolis. Take a look at their special day!

Getting Ready…

The bride and groom started their morning by getting ready separately. The bride was surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids as her hair was curled and she put on her makeup. After makeup and hair were done, the bride stepped into her stunning white gown while her bridesmaids put on their long black gowns. The groom got ready by putting on his suit and making sure he was ready to walk down the aisle.

Before the Ceremony…

After the bride and groom were ready, they took pictures separately. The couple decided they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, so instead of a first look, they did a first touch. The couple stood where they couldn’t see each other and got a chance to talk before the ceremony.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place at Balmoral House. At approximately 4:30, everyone found their seats, and the wedding party lined up to make their way down the aisle. The bride and groom said their vows, exchanged rings and lit a unity candle symbolizing their commitment to each other. Then they solidified their marriage by sharing a kiss and made their way out of the ceremony as Mr. and Ms. Schluter.

The Reception

The bride and groom made a grand entrance into the Balmoral House, for the first time as a married couple. The reception started with dinner and drinks, then speeches from the maid of honor and best man followed. Finally, it was time to cut the cake.

Later the newlyweds shared their first dance on the deck of the Balmoral House. After the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance took place, friends and family joined them for some drinks and dancing. They ended the night with a confetti send-off surrounded by their friends and family.
