I became a DJ out of the joy and passion to create a great memory for folks. The feeling of music is powerful and infectious, you might look back and remember that one song you danced to when you met a special someone or were belting it out in the car with your family—and that becomes your song forever.
My favorite part of the night is after the couple is done with their photo shoot and they can make it out to the dance floor to join the party! I would say also the end of the night when you really see friends and family gather together and it sets in with the couple that they are infinite!
What makes me unique as a DJ is my flexibility and ability to read the room. I truly tune into the couple’s vibe and tailor the music to fit their energy and vision. My music taste is wide-ranging—whether it’s country, indie, heavy rock, metal, or something totally different, I’ve got you covered. Whatever you need, I’ll make it happen.
My favorite at the moment was seeing a couple that said they wouldn’t dance get out on the dance floor and belt out with their friends and family, that felt like a really good accomplishment for not just me but them as well.
One fun fact most people don’t know about me is that I have anxiety—like, full-blown ‘overthink a text from 3 days ago’ anxiety. But put me behind the DJ booth and it’s like I’ve transformed into my final form. The nerves vanish, the music takes over, and suddenly I’m hyping up a crowd like I didn’t just rehearse saying ‘hi’ in my head twenty times. DJing lets me be the version of myself that anxiety can’t touch.
