Grace River Island Resort
Grace River Island Resort is a tropical wedding venue and large house located on a private island on the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers, Florida. The island is accessible by a land bridge, creating a sense of serenity while still being easy to reach from the city. This luxurious resort is well-suited for sunset weddings, ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, destination weddings, and couples hoping to escape for their honeymoon.
Facilities and Capacity:
The venue can host up to 100 guests for outdoor ceremonies/receptions and 75 for indoor events. There are several event spaces for you to choose from. For the ceremony, there is a large grassy area that overlooks the water and sunset. Also included, is a large deck right on the river. Indoor receptions are also encouraged in the venue’s clubhouse. This air-conditioned space can be transformed into a breathtaking space that includes a dance floor, seating, and room for entertainment.
Furthermore, outdoor festivities can continue on the deck area and adjacent lawns for cocktail parties and receptions. Here, you and your guests can mingle and sip on beverages as the sunset creates beautiful artistry down the river.

The resort includes separate suites for both the bridal party and the groom’s party to prepare for the day of the event. The bridal suite includes a large room with many mirrors, a full bathroom plus a half-bath as well as a loft for the lady’s sleepover. The groom’s room features a TV, bathroom, large mirrors, and more. Also added is, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, which sleeps, 20+ people. There is a large bonus room, a sunroom, heated swimming pool, hot tub, boat dock, and two private gazebos.

This venue can accommodate 175 guests for a seated event and up to 300 reception-style. The interior is characterized by modern fixtures and finishes, including solid wood flooring and low-hanging lights. Additionally, the facility contains get-ready rooms, allowing the happy couple and their loved ones to prepare for the occasion in privacy. On-site accommodations can also be arranged, including a honeymoon suite for the newlyweds.
