On the morning of Yasmeen + Israel’s wedding, feelings of joy and excitement for the future filled the air. The pair were finally beginning the future together as husband and wife! Months on end of preparation for a perfectly magical day went into it, and the wedding day was all worth it. Here is how their wedding day took place at the Arching Oaks Ranch.
Getting Ready
The day began with the wedding parties getting ready in their designated suites. In the bridal suite, the bridesmaids got ready in their matching PJ sets along with the lady of the hour. When they were all ready, the next step was the first look, to see the bride fully ready.
The First Look
Yasmeen stepped out into an open space at the ranch with her bridesmaids’ backs turned to her. With a countdown, they all turned and saw their stunning bride. Yasmeen wore a full lace fit and flare wedding dress, with a fingertip veil to match. She wore her hair in a half-updo with tousled curls. To keep the attention on the dress, Yasmeen wore subtle droplet earrings. All coming together to create a stunning bride. And they were off to the wedding ceremony!
The Venue
The Arching Oaks Ranch is just as you would imagine it, but even better! The forest of hanging oak trees surrounds the ranch. It’s filled with stunning greenery that fills that outdoor space. When guests arrived, they were led to the ceremony space where rows of chairs lead to the altar. Signs were carefully placed to let the wedding guests know of an unplugged and intimate ceremony.
The Ceremony
Once all guests were seated, the violinist began playing a song to set the tone. The wedding party made its way down the aisle. The bridesmaids’ sage chiffon dresses flowed through the wind and glistening sun. The groomsmen in hand wore classic black tuxedos.
Everyone made their way down the aisle, and once again, the violinist changed the song to signal the bride making her entrance. Yasmeen walked out with her mother by her side holding a portrait of her father. An amazing homage to honor the man who wasn’t able to be there on a momentous day. Yasmeen reached the altar and held hands with her groom. Vows were exchanged and promises were made between the two. All sealed off with a kiss. Finally, Yasmeen + Israel were husband and wife!
The Reception
The only thing left to do for the night was to celebrate the newlyweds. The friends and family all moved to the reception space. It was still outdoors but under a pavilion. The area was decked out in sweet notes of green, white, and gold pieces to fit the wedding theme.
The night ended with vibrant celebrations of love. There was plenty of laughter during toasts and plenty of dancing during the wedding tradition of the La Vibora de La Mar. It was a great night that celebrated the union between Yasmeen + Israel!
