Shebin and Chanell’s wedding wove together Indian and American traditions, embracing the symbolism of both cultures. Their officiant spoke about their vows to each other, but also their vows to their families, their community, and the world at large. This incredible couple don’t need any reminders that being of service is important, but I loved that it was such an important part of the ceremony. These two work hard to give back to their communities, while still making time for each other. The officiant said that because their love for each other is so expansive, it simply flows over into the rest of the world with ease. And not only do these two serve their community, they brought two communities together to celebrate with all their cultural traditions, and make new ones together. ⠀
