DJ Rock Steady was born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx. He started DJing when he was just 16 years old, where he began learning all the in and outs of the trade. He wanted to become a DJ because of his love for music and the fact that DJing gives him a medium where he can share that passion with others.
DJ Rocksteady aims to bring joy to people utilizing an array of beat and instruments. “Music is life”. He knows if you can read your crowd, you’re in for a successful event, combined with the fact that his motto for developing his style is to never imitate, is what really set his apart from the masses. Our original DJ from another company cancelled 5 days before our wedding date, so I was frantically calling DJs to try to find a replacement. Once I called Complete, I knew that I was in good hands.
