    How would you describe your DJ personality?
    I am super energetic and positive. Friendly and outgoing. and I LOVE to DANCE.
    What is your favorite DJ memory?
    Wow, so many to think of. A live mariachi band, breakdancing groom, a serenade by the wedding party. Mixing a choreographed dance for the bride and groom. A widowed mother asking me to dance with her because she liked the music I was playing. Not to mention all of the couples I have met and the friendships I have made. They are all great memories.
    What is the funniest thing that ever happened at an event?
    Right after I started the Wobble, I walked right up to a 75-year old Grandmother and asked her to come dance with me. The WHOLE place went absolutely NUTS! She gave me a big hug afterwards and told me that was one the funnest things she had done in a LONG time.
    Why did you become a DJ?
    I LOVE MUSIC and I LOVE TO DANCE. The sounds…the energy… the people…the atmosphere. It is such an awesome rush. Not to mention that I get to dance and have fun EVERY time I go do a show!! What else can compare??
    Why do you like performing at wedding dances?
    Apart from when my son was born, our wedding was one of the most important days of my life and one that I will remember forever. Weddings are just incredibly happy, joyous and fun events and I love just playing a part in making every couple’s special day as memorable as mine was.
    What is your favorite party song?
    Right now, Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars or Time of Our Lives by Pitbull & Ne-Yo. Both are stop down songs for dancing. And Michael Jackson will always be the “King of Pop” to me. 
    What sets you apart from other DJs, or what are your specialties?
    Quite often you will see me dancing behind my table or out on the dance floor teaching people how to do a dance. I love to get everyone involved and having a good time. I’ve taught wedding parties the popular dances like the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble as well as other dances like Thriller, Copperhead Road, The Bird among others.
    I have also done custom mixsets and I have many different types of fun things that we can do.
    And I will listen to you for all the things that you want to happen and I will go above and beyond expectations to make sure that it all does.
    What is your #1 goal as a DJ?
    At the end of the day, my bride and groom come up to me and say “This day was EXACTLY what we wanted. Thank you”

    "Our DJ, Matt May was PHENOMENAL. Cannot say more good things or rave about Matt enough. He met with us on a Sunday afternoon to go over our planning forms, came prepared with recommendations, made sure we felt supported and let us know that it was our day for him to help make special. And boy did he do that!

    The wedding ceremony was flawless, the music transitions were great. Following the ceremony Matt brought us waters and checked in; it was so thoughtful that he went out of his way.

    For our reception Matt brought so much energy and positivity to the room. The bridal and groom party entrance made us feel excited to follow them. He made sure that we were able to have time for a group photo and to make sure everyone got on the dance floor. Something we did not expect was a special DJ moment as bride! Such a once in a lifetime moment to share with our friends and family and a way to get everyone involved with a simple sharing of the stage. 10/10, hire Matt May for any and all things DJ related, he will not disappoint."
