Started DJ’ing in 2001 back in Michigan to where I primarily did bars, nightclubs and karaoke shows. After moving to Texas in 2007 I transitioned to mostly weddings and corporate events. Since then, I’ve performed hundreds of events at over 150 different venues ranging from 5 star hotels, rustic barn/ranch and even intimate backyard weddings. With my 20+ years experience you get the assurance that I understand how everything is supposed to flow and will help facilitate the day-of activities when a coordinator is not present.
In my personal life I live in Wylie, TX with my wife of 10+ years, our 9 year old daughter, 5 year old son and a sassy cat named Pepper. My full time career is a Material Planning Manager for a fiber optic cable company that provides to mostly military and aerospace contractors. Being a sit down desk job, I really enjoy this side gig hobby of making sure that people’s wedding day goes exactly how they pictured.
My favorite part of being a DJ is going to places I would never see, meeting so many great people either as a client or in the wedding industry, learning a wide range of music genres and experiencing many wedding traditions and cultures from around the world.
What separates you from other DJ’s?
My knowledge of all different genres and ability to incorporate them together seamlessly throughout the night. I believe my past experience with the bars and Karaoke makes me very approachable and personable, while my past experience in the clubs gives me the ability to keep the energy high from reading and feeding off the crowd.
Describe your DJ style?
Professional, knowledgeable, outgoing and enthusiastic, but not overbearing. I am confident enough in my music choices to not feel the need to perform games, although I have the training to do so if that is what you are looking for to keep your guest entertained. I’m very adaptable to my clients, so I like to tell people to tell me what kind of DJ you are looking for instead of me telling you what kind of DJ I am.
