Why did you decide to become a photographer?

I love capturing the special, fun, and memorable moments that so easily fade with memory or get lost in the big moments. Photography allows a way for me to be creative and be a part of locking in memories for life. Plus, it’s just fun!

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?

Meeting new couples from different parts of the country with unique love stories! I’ve always been intrigued with hearing people’s life stories and being a photographer allows me to be a part of something bigger than me.

What makes you or your work unique / stand out?

I always prioritize that anybody in front of my camera feels comfortable and confident. I am very intentional with my timelines and am consistently reading the room on how emotions are doing and pivoting as needed.

List one fun fact about you most people do not know:

I’ve run 2 marathons, one was in Italy!

What’s an awesome moment you always make sure to capture at a wedding?

The cute, subtle moment when the bride is being helped by her partner or bridesmaids with her dress as she walks. It’s a true candid moment and always shows the depth of love or friendship.

What’s one unexpected item you always keep in your camera bag?

So many things! I come prepared for the “just in case” for whomever I’m photographing, so you’ll find a lint roller, mints, and tiny scissors in my bag!

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend in Colorado Springs when you’re not photographing weddings?

Hiking with my husband and Colorado Mountain Dog Ozzy, chilling at the sauna at my gym, or grabbing brunch downtown!
