Why did you decide to become a photographer?

I’ve always loved the idea of freezing time. Photography gives couples the chance to relive moments that might otherwise slip by too quickly and I wanted to be the person who preserves those memories.

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?

I love capturing the in-between moments: the laughter, the happy tears, the excitement before walking down the aisle. Weddings move fast, but photos keep those emotions alive forever.

What makes you or your work unique / stand out?

I pride myself on preparation and connection. I show up early, stay attentive, and work hard to capture genuine, authentic moments that feel true to each couple. My goal is to make the experience stress-free while creating timeless images.

List one fun fact about you most people do not know:

I’m always practicing my craft and finding new ways to see the world through my lens.

What’s an awesome moment you always make sure to capture at a wedding?

The moment right after the couple says “I do.” There’s this mix of relief, joy, and pure excitement that can’t be staged. It’s one of my favorites to freeze in time.

Do you have a favorite moment from your own wedding or one you’ve attended?

At a friend’s wedding, the power went out mid-reception. Instead of panicking, everyone grabbed candles and kept the party going. It turned into one of the most memorable nights ever. Proof that imperfect moments make the best stories.

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend in Colorado Springs when you’re not photographing weddings?

I like to keep it simple. Coffee in the morning, catching a local game, and grilling out with friends or family.

What do most couples say about you after working with you?

They usually mention that I was calm under pressure and that I kept things running smoothly. And more often than not, they say I felt more like a friend than just their photographer.
