Maggie + Garrett recently had a heartwarming wedding day at Younger Ranch. The wedding day was full of many events that led to the tying of two souls. Love and hope for the future filled the air. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. This is how the day began…
Attire
One of the many reasons Maggie + Garrett chose to have their wedding at Younger Ranch is because it has designated areas for all the things taking place during the wedding day. Upon arrival to Younger Ranch on the wedding day, the bridesmaids and groomsmen separated ways as they entered their suites to get ready.
Bridesmaids
The bridesmaids were all excited to get ready in The Bride Barn. Each of them put on their own dress that came in the color of a deep red. It was the shade of red that you tend to find on the inside of a rose. Not quite wine, stained, but also not a fiery red. The dresses were all the same style: sheath with a sweetheart neckline, held up by two thick straps that went over their shoulders. Once they were all dressed in red, the bridesmaids were ready for the day’s events.
Groomsmen
The groomsmen got to make a statement in their suits. The navy blue suits, paired with a white button-down shirt, and were topped off with a deep red tie. This look came together for a classic pairing of the patriotic color combination. The best man wore his graduation uniform from West Point. A uniform that represents a high honor, and leadership qualification for whomever it is placed upon.
Ceremony
Venue
With the bridesmaids and groomsmen ready, all that was left was for everyone to take their places in the ceremony area. The outdoor ceremony location of the venue had stretched-out views of Pikes Peak. Guests took their seats and faced the stunning views.
Bride
A hushed silence fell over the guests as the music began to play. Two by two, the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way down the aisle. Until finally, Emma stepped out onto the brick path that led to the love of her life. She wore a stunning wedding dress with unique cuts. The Queen Anne neckline combined the sweetheart shape while also having lace fabric attached and extending over the shoulders and into the back. The combination of the bodice and the a-line skirt gave Maggie the regal look she was looking for.
Emma walked up to Garrett and they laid eyes on each other. Memories flooded each of them of all the dates that lead to this moment. The “I dos” and “til death do us parts” sealed their love. And now, it was time to party!
Reception
Decorations
The reception barn of Younger ranch includes a perfect rustic charm. The exterior of the barn is painted in a bright red, and guests get to walk onto a beautifully waxed wood floor. The ceilings were decorated with string lights that looped through the area.
Once again, guests took their seats and waited for the newly wedded couple. Each of the wedding party’s pairs arrived in style with their own unique entrance. They all gathered at the head table that was elegantly decorated with greenery and splashes of blue and red flowers to go with the overall theme.
First Dance
Maggie + Garrett chose to have the entrance doors draped in linens in the way a theatrical stage would. Allowing for a beautifully framed moment as they had their first dance. All in all, the night ended with love and laughter. They all danced, ate, and had the time of their lives!
