Looking back at the photos from this past fall wedding season reminded us how much fun it was! One of the amazing couples we were honored to work with is Josephine and Brian, who tied the knot in September 2022 at their favorite space, Destihl Brewery. They are truly gorgeous and fun-loving, which made working with them a pleasure! The stunning venue spoke for itself and served as a classic backdrop for the couple. So, it goes without saying that their brewery wedding was a beautiful occasion that we’re sure no one will ever forget.
Before the Ceremony
The big day started with the beautiful bride and handsome groom getting ready. Their respective parties were doing everything to help them get ready. So many laughs were shared as they prepared for the most wonderful day of their lives!
First Looks
After everyone was ready, we headed to the brewery, where Josephine and Brian had their first look captured by Erin + Eric. The moment they saw each other was all about how genuine love really looked like.
Josephine wore an A-line lace gown, and she looked so stunning. She had tied her hair nicely with a beautiful clip at the back, letting two wavy strands fall in the front. Brian, however, wore a sharp gray suit that matched his groomsmen. It was easily noticeable that they had put a lot of effort into making everything look flawless.
Destihl Brewery Wedding Party’s Ceremony Attire
Brian waited eagerly for his beautiful bride as we proceeded to the ceremony. All the guests were comfortably seated, and the ceremony started with soft music. We loved how the barrels were such a unique background, as the couple said their long-awaited ‘I do’s’.
Venue + Decor
Destihl Brewery was once reserved for the practical application of aging beers and was utilized occasionally for private dinners. It was later opened up for the guests to host ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and more. Within this brewery is the barrel room, where you will find the one-of-a-kind ambiance of a Barrel Aging Room with Italian glass pendant lights. Three large windows display a gorgeous view of the picturesque lake outside of the building.
Modern Industrial Wedding Venue
The brewery wedding venue offers a modern industrial space perfect for a craft beer experience. It’s a place where you are greeted with warm hospitality and an unmatchable vibe. The culinary team offers a vast array of menu selections and works with the host to hand-select the perfect menu of their choice.
Josephine and Brian played on the white color scheme for the wedding ceremony and reception. Each table was set with white flowers and greenery to create a romantic atmosphere. The catering service was done very professionally by the team of Le Bakery. As the guests seated themselves, they were just in awe of the space and how beautifully it was decked up.
Reception
As the reception began, the couple had their first dance at “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Kacey Musgraves. Everyone was dancing their hearts out, and we got plenty of candid photos and videos done by Micah to prove it! The party continued with John behind the DJ booth. It was a night full of love, happiness, tears, and joy. It was the perfect way to start their first chapter as husband and wife.
