Dakotah is a South Louisiana native with a zest of adventure that has lead him into many thrilling encounters. His exciting life has included everything from parachuting out of airplanes to cliff jumping, scuba diving, and learning martial arts. Following his own motto, “I’m always down for an adventure,” Dakotah’s quest ultimately brought him to California, where he experienced a unique adventure that had a significant impact on his life.

While in California, Dakotah immersed himself in house repair and pest control, crossing paths with notable celebrities. Perhaps it was during this period that he first felt the stirrings of the “entertainment bug.” He purchased his inaugural camera while residing out west and initiated the capture of moments as a hobby. As his time in The Golden State unfolded, he yearned for something more reminiscent of his upbringing. Consequently, he returned to Louisiana, tied the knot with his now-wife, and embarked on planning to start a family. In 2020, their son arrived, marking a year spent indoors due to the lockdown. During this period, Dakotah seized the opportunity to explore the world of video game streaming, achieving notable success.

His work as a video game content creator nourished his curiosity and enthusiasm for photography. Dakotah undertook a significant life milestone when he learned the nuances of professional camera operation on his own by utilizing the wealth of web resources.

After a few years, he learned that a nearby entertainment company (spoiler alert: it was us!) was hiring new employees for the upcoming year. After joining our company, Dakotah underwent extensive videography training. His background in photography facilitated a seamless transition, allowing him to hone the skills to capture a wedding on video as comfortably as he could as a photographer.

Given his own marital status and the importance of protecting a couple’s special day, Dakotah conducts his work with a sense of obligation. He understands that the moments that he captures become essential parts of a couple’s recollections, allowing them to relive the story of their wedding day.

He is skilled at capturing the subtle moments of a wedding, especially the enchantment that happens during receptions and, more especially, the night’s end—the emotional farewell. Dakotah’s talent lies not only in documenting events but also in forging meaningful connections with the couples he works with. .
