I love capturing weddings for the diversity of cultures, traditions, and people I get to experience, and for the privilege of recording a once-in-a-lifetime event. With just one chance to capture it, completing the day knowing the story is preserved feels very rewarding.

I like to lean into capturing the day as candidly as possible, while also using creative shots to enhance storytelling and showcase details. Good angles and high-quality audio are always a priority.

Visually, I love filming the couples’ portraits, especially during sunset – but the reception is a close second, since the hard part is over and everyone’s celebrating!

My favourite location would be anywhere with easy parking and accessible paths for moving equipment! 

For those who find having a videographer intimidating, I’d offer some reassurance. Don’t think of it like you have to perform or change anything for the camera. I’m there to capture things as they happen and ensure every important moment is covered, which takes the pressure off of guests and you to focus on being present. The final video only includes the highlights, so only the best parts make it in.
