Hailey

Hey, I’m Hailey! My approach to your wedding day photos is simple: let the memories unfold, and capture them as they happen. I prefer to guide my couples when they need it, and then step aside while the natural parts of your day progress, allowing me to analyze and authentically capture the connections happening all around you. In my free time, you’ll typically find me at home outside on our deck soaking up the sun, or hanging out on the couch with my two cats and my partner.

What do you love most about capturing weddings?

I love getting to experience all the different family/friend dynamics that are unique to each couple. A wedding day can mean something completely different to every person present, and experiencing all the different reactions is such a joy.

What is your favourite moment to capture during a wedding?

Definitely the reactions of friends and family during your vows/the ceremony.

What is your favourite wedding venue/location to capture?

love outdoor weddings, whether that’s a garden, a golf course, or a backyard. I love getting to play around with natural light.

What advice do you have for couples to feel more comfortable in front of the camera?

Try to focus as much as possible on just being present with your partner. Don’t worry about posing “right”; just focus on how much you love them, how amazing they look, or how grateful you are to be there with them. Everything else will fall into place giving you the most authentic photos possible.
