How would you describe your “DJ Personality?”

I am a fun guy to be around. I love to meet new people and get to know them. My background in playing guitar helps me mix and match songs and my positive attitude helps keep everyone having a good time. I’m also incredibly flexible which helps a lot when there are sudden changes even if other people are freaking out. I always do my best to work out the best solution for anything that should arise.

What is your favorite memory as a DJ?

Hands down I did a wedding with La Hora Loca (Crazy Hour). There were reggaeton hits, Cumbia, conga lines, a limbo stick, LED light sticks, and the crowd even stuck a hat on me to go with the vibe. Everyone was having fun on the dance floor which made it really special.

What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?

My favorite thing about being a DJ is bringing people together with music. Tunes possess something special that not many other things in this life can do. You can be having the worst of days and all it takes is one encouraging comment or a favorite song to make the day feel special again.

What makes you unique/stand out as a DJ?

I have a background in producing and studying rock music. I have played guitar ever since I can remember and have even composed some of my own music. These skills translate nicely to the turntables not only for great mixes but also bringing head-banging energy to the party!

When it comes to weddings and receptions, what it your favorite part of the night and WHY?

Definitely the first dance. Seeing the couple smile and enjoying each others’ company to a special song is something you cannot buy. It’s the first time people start to settle in to the wedding reception and start celebrating.

What is your favorite party song to play at events and WHY?

I love “Turn Down For What” by Lil’ Jon because it’s a hit that just brings the energy and just makes you wanna get up and shake your body. It is a great energy booster for the crowd!

Why did you decide to become a DJ?

My love for both playing and listening to music is just the beginning. I also love providing unparalleled service, putting others before myself to making sure they are having a great time. Plus, I am a person with tons of energy to burn off all the time and I thrive in a fast-paced environment where I am on my feet, talking to people and having a good time. Being a DJ I can utilize my musical background and my love for getting to know people to help couples experience their perfect night every time.

List one fun fact about you most people don’t know:

I love to cook! My favorite thing about cooking is exploring new ways to combine familiar and less-common ingredients. I also love exploring cuisine in other cultures, most recently Korean!
