How would you describe your “DJ Personality?”

Bubbly, open-minded, and organized. I pay attention to the smallest of details, but I also want to make sure everyone is having a great time overall. Fun is my priority!!

What is your favorite memory as a DJ?

My favorite memory is getting “HOT TO GO” requested and getting to do the dance with the bridesmaids while teaching it to some guests on the spot. They were so excited to get me out on the dance floor and their partying energy was really infectious!

What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?

My favorite thing about being a DJ is getting the opportunity to meet so many different people with varying personalities, music tastes, and ideas. I think it’s great to broaden your horizons and learn more about the people you’re creating experiences for, then take that knowledge with you and grow with it.

What makes you unique/stand out as a DJ?

I have an extensive performing arts background. I act, sing, dance, and play my tenor saxophone whenever I can. I am a trained musical theatre performer and jazz musician, so I bring a wide variety of knowledge and techniques to an experience. I put 110% of my effort into everything I commit myself to, and genuinely enjoy the work I do.

When it comes to weddings and receptions, what it your favorite part of the night and WHY?

My favorite part of the night is opening the dance floor. I love to dance and seeing a full dance floor makes me the happiest!! Dance music really feeds my soul so seeing people getting down and not feeling inhibited is great.

What is your favorite party song to play at events and WHY?

I have so many! … But! Probably “Promiscuous” by Nelly Furtado. It’s one of my personal favorite songs to dance to, so I always love the reaction it gets on the dance floor.

Why did you decide to become a DJ?

I became a DJ because I have always loved music, but I am very service-minded and have always enjoyed planning fun parties/events for my friends and family to enjoy. Being a DJ combines all of my interests into a neat little package.

List one fun fact about you most people don’t know:

When I’m at home, I can get sucked into video games or my crochet projects. I love the Zelda games and Stardew Valley. I actually crocheted a holder for my Nintendo Switch!

"Olivia was the best DJ I have ever experienced at a wedding. She was so easy to communicate with and exceeded all expectations we had! I told Olivia the one thing I envisioned for our wedding was everyone in the dance floor all night long… and boy did she deliver!! Despite having an outdoor wedding in the middle of an incoming hurricane with rain coming in the tent, extensions cords getting accidentally unplugged by our guests outside the tent Olivia stayed calm and would pick up right where the music left off. Even our guests were asking for her card to use at their events in the future. She is a total rockstar!! 10/10"
