Why did you decide to become a photographer?

I fell in love with photography in college while studying Photoshop. I’ve always been fascinated by technology and love diving deep into every part of my gear. I actually picked up a camera just so I’d have images to edit in Photoshop—and I never looked back. Creating dreamlike images is what excites me most.

What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
I’ll never forget the first wedding I photographed. When I got home and looked through the images, I felt the magic I had just captured. My favorite moment is reviewing a gallery and seeing all the crisp, emotionally charged photos I know my couples will cherish for years.

What makes you or your work unique / stand out?

People often describe me as the calm, collected “big brother” type. With years of experience, I’ve seen it all! I know that photographers set the tone for the entire day. When things feel hectic, I stay grounded and help everyone feel at ease. I remind couples that the little hiccups are part of the story. My goal is to make you feel like your best friend photographed your wedding.

What is your favorite part of the night?

Two moments always stand out: when the couple first locks eyes—whether during a first look or while walking down the aisle—and the first dance. I love capturing the raw emotions in those moments of connection and romance.

List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
I have been a photographer for so long that I started off on film cameras, and not because it was cool! That was all I had!
