Why did you decide to become a photographer?

I originally took a photography class in high school with no intent of doing it long-term. However, after my first couple of classes, I fell in love with the art; over the course of the years, it quickly went from a hobby to a career and passion! I love getting to meet new people, and capturing candid moments of them!

What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
Shooting with Complete at the St. Louis Zoo! I got to pose my bride and groom in front of the elephants, giraffes, sea lions and penguins! My favorite photo from that day was under the Sea Lion Tunnel!

What makes you or your work unique / stand out?

I like to try new things during every session. New couples and new location leads to new ideas! I like to get creative and experiment.

What is your favorite part of the night?

I really like doing bridal party photos because it’s usually the bride and grooms closest friends and/or family.

List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
Many people thing that because my last name is “Sears” that my family owns the department store franchise. We do not, lol. Otherwise, I would be living in the Bahamas and NOT Missouri. lol
