How would you describe your “DJ Personality”
I maybe there to throw a party, but I am also there to have a great time. My personality is of one, who enjoys the party and engages everyone there to enjoy it with me.
What is your favorite DJ memory?
It is hard to pick an absolute favorite memory. What knocks me for a loop is when a song will be playing, and I am looking down at my device to set up the next song. I will have it all cued up; and when I look up, the dancefloor has taken off on a mind of its own. The crowd is doing their own thing, and I have to keep giving them the right songs to keep up with them.
What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?
My favorite thing about being a DJ is when I know I can do no wrong, because the crowd responds to whatever I am playing. I will throw in songs for my own amusement, and everyone there just eats it up with a spoon.
What makes you unique / stand out as a DJ?
I have a vast, musical knowledge. I like to read liner notes and album credits. When someone walks up to me to discuss music, I can have conversations with guests and give them interesting musical trivia facts.
What is your favorite part of the night?
My favorite part of the night is when the party is at fever pitch, and I can keep that going until the end.
What is your favorite party song to play at events?
I do not have a particular favorite since not every crowd is the same. When I realize what they want, it is a thrill to give it to them without having to be asked; because I can then anticipate what they are thinking.
Why did you become a DJ?
I became a DJ, because a friend asked me if it would be something I would like to do. At the time, I knew nothing about it; but he was willing to teach me from the ground up. Since I was willing to learn, I have been introduced to a profession from which I am not wanting to retire any time soon.
List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
Call me spoiled, but I cannot enjoy a concert unless I am within the first two rows. I like to be right there where the action is. When it comes down to it, I, myself, am a fan.
"Everything was perfect!!! Eric did an amazing job with being our DJ. He listened to what we wanted and delivered! We loved his impromptu on the limbo dancing and the highlight of the night was when he was doing the send off, he played Bohemian Rhapsody. He had the workers turn off the lights and encouraged our guest to stand around us and to take out their phones to wave their lights on. That was so epic and very special to us. "I heard about Complete Weddings and Events through a friend from work for my wedding. I started looking into their services and reviews from other people and everyone seemed to have good things to say about this company. I decided to do a request through the website for a DJ and they got back to me in a very timely manner and were super nice and helpful with the questions that I had. A week before our wedding our DJ called us and we went through the timeline of our night for the reception. Our reception venue said that they always work with Complete Weddings and Events and it was nice to know that they were a very well known company. Eric was a super nice guy.
