How would you describe your “D J personality”
My DJ personality is smooth and laid back. I want You to be the star of your day and I’m happy to make that happen.
What is your favorite DJ memory?
I Saved a wedding with duck tape and a lint roller.
The bride and groom had a dog in the wedding and before the reception intro the bride ripped her dress and the grooms tux was covered in dog hair.
When I met the wedding party to go over the intro everyone was in such a down mood. I grabbed my handy dandy back pack and somehow the tape held the dress together and the groom was so pumped about the lint roller. Silly but I made their day and it made my day.
What is your favorite thing about being a DJ ?
I enjoy being silly on the mic and getting people to loosen up. I also love music and forcing folks to dance until they are tired.
What makes you unique / stand out as a DJ
Style/ smile lol. To be serious I really see the night as a presentation and I enjoy the dramatic build up. I Make sure that no one in the building has to wonder what’s next or what to. I completely want you to only focus on your best friend.
What is your favorite part of the night?
My favorite part of the night is sing alone time.
Once the conservative guess have gone home and the true bad singers have drinks as mics and don’t want to leave.
Why did you become a DJ?
I became a DJ to prove to myself that I could and I got really good at it.
It’s nothing like watching a granny with moves, I like “ dropped the bomb on me”
“Shout” and I really enjoy teaching the “wobble” it’s always funny lol.
I feel like I will be judged for this but hey…. A bride gave me socks at a wedding and she said they were magical. I’ve been wearing them to each of my shows since. All great times btw lol.
""To say that John was an excellent DJ underscores how amazing the man actually was. My wife and I went into the wedding with ZERO plan on how the ceremony was going to happen from start to finish. He personally put together a timeline and order of operations, instructed everyone where they needed to be and when, what to do, and how to make the thing go off with a bang. Then he, of course, added a great musical score to the whole affair. When our catering company forgot to bring champagne, John bought a bottle for the head table to cheers with out of his own pocket just to be helpful. He was engaging, funny, and FUN like no other. My wife and I could not be more thankful that we ended up with such an awesome person managing the mic. By the end of the festivities he truly felt like family. Thank you John!!!""
