Taylor + Bryce’s Love Story

9.30.21

Taylor + Bryce’s love story is quite unique. It’s not your typical “love at first sight” fairytale story. It’s actually quite more realistic than that. Because in reality, it takes time to get to know someone before you decide if you want them to be a part of the rest of your life.

Taylor + Bryce met through mutual friends in college. Taylor had dreams of one day leaving South Dakota, and Bryce had his eye on the ball… baseball. He used to play baseball if you’re not catching my drift. As the two spent time around each other through friends, they started to realize how similar they were, and eventually, it became just them making plans.

Fast forward a couple of months and dates later, and they were in a relationship! It didn’t take long for Bryce to realize that Taylor was someone he wanted to keep in his life forever. One day while on a boat ride, he got on one knee, and proposed to the love of his life. This of course led them to their wedding day.

The Wedding Day

Taylor + Bryce’s wedding day started with love and excitement in the air. By the end of the night, they’d be walking away hand in hand doing the life thing forever.

The Bride

Taylor began preparing for her day by getting her hair and makeup done. She went for tousled curls loosely put together in an updo. All held up by a jeweled hair comb. For her makeup, she opted for a gold smokey eye with a mauve matte lip. A classic look for the classic bride.

Next on the to-do list was slipping into her dress with the help of her bridesmaids. The dress came in the shape of a form-fitting mermaid style. The bodice part of the dress was covered in lace, while the skirt part of the dress was made of tulle. The top part came in the form of a v-cut shape, complimenting her neckline.

First Looks

After preparing for the day, Taylor was finally ready to have her first look with Bryce. She walked outside to meet him with his back turned to her. A tap on the shoulder signaled him to turn around and see his beautiful bride. The two were finally able to embrace each other and be on their way to getting married.

Ceremony

Taylor + Bryce picked a breathtaking location by the Majestic Pavillion in Arnolds Park to have their wedding ceremony. The backdrop of a blue lake added a layer of calmness to the wide range of emotions that everyone was feeling. As soon as the guests took their seats, silence fell as the music began to play. Two by two, the wedding party walked down the aisle, until finally, Taylor walked down with her father. They met Bryce at the altar so they could begin their vows. After thoughtful words were exchanged and sealed with the kiss, the bride + groom were officially a married couple!

Decorations

Celebrations continued in a beautiful indoor venue at the Majestic Pavillion. The decorations in the building were subtle but complimented the space well. There was a theme of palm leaves scattered throughout the venue. These touched on the slight beachy aesthetic of the venue.

A New Beginning

Taylor + Bryce had their first dance, followed by the mother + father dance and many more. One thing was for sure, by the end of the night, everyone was in the highest of spirits. Two families were joined by dancing the night away.
