Hannah and John were the cutest couple, at the cutest New Smyrna venue, with the cutest family and friends! We had the honor of capturing their day, while also playing music for their ceremony and reception. We loved this summer wedding with all the pastel colors and country music. Getting Ready
Getting ready photos are always some of our favorites. The perfect moments to capture with your closest friends, ramping up the excitement that you’re about to walk down the aisle and marry your best friend. Not only are the pics cute, but they are sentimental as well. You probably won’t have another moment like this with this group of people.
Hannah and her girls wore the cutest pajamas. The bride wore white (obviously), but the bridesmaids wore a powder blue, satin set that match the color of their dresses. These pics are to die for! Take notes, because there are a few ideas for you to use with your own bridesmaids on the big day.
We also love the sweet pictures with Hannah getting her makeup done, and the first moments after she puts on her dress for the day. There were plenty of pics of John with his guys as well! We love to see photos of the guys helping each other with their jackets and ties.
The Details
Orlando wedding photographer, Gabriel E., captured the details of the wedding day absolutely beautifully. The greenery and baby’s breath mixed in with the powder blue create a color palette that screams summertime. We love the way Hannah and John incorporated pieces of their engagement with the decorations, including a few photos from their engagement session.
The dresses all looked beautiful hung up in a row. We adore the fact that we are able to see all the details of Hannah’s wedding dress hung in the window! The table decorations for the reception put a cherry on top of the elegance of this modern rustic wedding. From the linens to the flowers, to the cake. . . everything was absolutely perfect!
The Couple’s Portraits
Hannah and John are cute. . . simple as that! We’d be remiss if we didn’t include a section in this blog specifically for their portraits. The Mulberry is maybe one of the best places to get outdoor photos done in the New Smyrna Beach area! The greenery all around makes for a great photo op. The Orlando photographer was able to really capture a lot of sweet moments and use his creativity to get the cutest shots. Along with the greenery is the cutest barn to take photos in front of as well!
Hannah’s veil was used to capture the most gorgeous photos. Make sure to tell your photographer to get creative with the veil if you choose to wear one. Another thing we love about these photos is the fact that this couple just had FUN! Candid photos are always going to turn out super cute because it’s just two of you being yourselves.
The Reception
Everything from the entrance, to the cake cutting, to the speeches, to the open dance. . . all we can say is this: what a fun group! They definitely liked to have a good time, and it’s truly what we love to see! Our Orlando DJ, Berson, was able to really turn up the energy level and curate a fun playlist with the couple.
Line dances were obviously included, along with some country music and other modern Top 40s songs as well. We always say a DJ’s goal is to make sure the bride and groom are having an amazing time. Based on these photos, we’d say Berson was successful!
